Given the increasingly complex and stressful world we live in, it is no wonder that we are looking for ways to bring balance back into our lives. Of course, mindfulness is not a cure for everything, but it’s a “superpower” that most of us do not fully use yet!
But what does mindfulness actually mean and how to integrate it in your personal life but also at work?
We believe in the benefits of mindfulness, both professionally and personally, and want to help people make it part of their lives. At Freeletics, we all have focused on the topic over the last months – just a few weeks ago we launched our Mindset-Coaching to help people leverage mindfulness in their everyday routine.
In this meet up we want to talk about ways to include mindfulness in your daily work. Mindfulness is not one size fits all, it looks different on everyone. Different techniques work for different people. Therefore, let’s exchange experiences, opinions and questions and together figure out ways how to include mindfulness in our daily work!
One of our special guests will be mindfulness expert Claudia Braun (a partner at RETURN ON MEANING), who will be giving an impulse talk and answering your questions. RETURN ON MEANING is a consultancy for mindfulness in organizations, change management and leadership development. She is a certified MBSR (mindfulness based stress reduction) trainer and mindfulness coach, among other qualifications. Her passion for the topic mindfulness began during her time at McKinsey, where she worked for over 5 years.
We are happy to announce that Katrin Buisman will also be part of the interview round to share her insights with us. Katrin originally comes from the sports industry, having worked for Puma and Under Armour, and is now the founder of Create Mind Space. Her vision is to bring more mental strength to people and companies around the world with the approach of mindfulness and emotional intelligence based on neuroscience (more information can be found at www.katrinbuisman.com).
